Everything I know about my mission (so far)

Welcome to my mission blog!

I have been called to the Trinidad Port of Spain mission. My language is English, and my MTC arrival date is July 18.

Fun fact (this is one of my favorite fun facts, in fact): My mission is NOT in Spain! How is that gonna happen?? In fact, the location of the (former) mission office is in Trinidad. You may have heard of the country, Trinidad and Tobago. Unfortunately, Trinidad is no longer allowing missionaries to serve there.

My mission covers several countries: Suriname, Guyana, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and of course, Trinidad and Tobago. If you still don't know what region my mission covers, imagine in your mind South America. Now take the northern part of South America, and into the Caribbean. That is where my mission is.

This mission used to be known as the "West Indies" mission.

I will most likely be serving in Guyana, seeing that my language is English, and Guyana is the only English speaking country in my mission besides Trinidad.

Guyana is actually considered part of the Caribbean.

Another one of my favorite fun facts is that I am going to the Dominican Republic MTC.

Until next time,
